In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, The New Gallery remains closed to the public until further notice

We are grateful to our artists and patrons for their ongoing flexibility and support as we’ve pivoted our operations in solidarity with global efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The New Gallery has committed to paying fees to all artists programmed, in full and on time, regardless of any changes in how programming takes place. TNG also recognizes the increased labour needed to support these changes, and has also committed to increasing fees for the additional time and energy taken on by our artists.

TNG staff is working closely with all of our impacted artists to strategize new ways for patrons to experience their work, including but not limited to: adapting exhibitions into online formats, creating catalogues, and developing supplementary public programs online.
